Looking to offer a variety of flavours to please multiple palates,Hotel Shivalikview in Sector 17 has put together a Desi-Videshi Food Festival. The buffet spread (Rs 400) being dished out at the banquet hall,Majlis,hop scotches across cuisines on the world map,albeit with a twist. The menu compiled by Chef Vineet Chopra offers fusion items such as Narangi Paneer,Basil Orange Balls and Mango Chicken along with global favourites such as Fish Teriyaki Fish,Tex Mex with seven dips and Biryani. Desserts such as Beetroot Halwa,Aam Ras Phirni and Chocolate Jalebi lead the summer fare. Complementing the mixed platters are performances by Sufi and folk fusion band,Rudraksh. By the way,Anjeer Jamuns are worth a bite.
