Three people were arrested within 24 hours after Mohinder Singh was stabbed to death on Thursday.

Sarpanch stabbed to death,3 held

Three people were arrested within 24 hours after Mohinder Singh,sarpanch of Boothgarh village,near Kurali,was stabbed to death on Thursday. The accused,Gurmail Singh,Gurjant Singh and Inqar Singh,have been booked for murder.

Man arrested for possessing drugs

Chandigarh police,on Friday,arrested a Hallo Majra resident for allegedly carrying 6,000 tablets (Spasmocip plus) and 264 injections (Pheniramine maleate). A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered.
