For the housing scheme of 160 flats in Sector 51-A,the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) has already received more than 23 times that number of of applications. The scheme will close on January 13 and the Board has received 3,800 applications.

Kang files petition

Jagjit Singh Kang on Wednesday filed a petition with the UT Deputy Commissioner against the mayoral election. He sought setting aside of the election of Congressman Ravinder Pal Singh Pali as Mayor.
