Baddi gets ESIC Model Hospital
Chandigarh: Mallikarjun Kharge,Union Minister for Labour and Employment,inaugurated a 100-bed ESIC Model Hospital at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. According to a statement issued by the ESI Corporation,the hospital will offer specialty services in medicine,surgery,obstetrics and gynaecology,paediatrics and orthopaedics. It has been made with an investment of Rs 60.62 crore. It will provide indoor,outdoor,emergency and diagnostic services to the insured workers at Baddi,Barotiwala and Nalagarh in particular and the state in general,according to the release.

HP Police Sadbhavana Marathon on May 29
Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Police has decided to organise the first ever HP Police Sadbhavana Marathon on May 29 the eve of “World Tobacco Day”. Sumesh Goyal,Additional Director General of Police and coordinator of the event,said 3,000 people from all walks of life were likely to participate.
