Heralding the start of the bridal season,Paranizers,an event management company in association with Enlivens Deiva (sic) is set to roll out an exhibition titled ‘India International Bride Week 2010’. Quiz the organisers on how the adage ‘international’ came about,Rabia,one of the organisers,explains,“We will be presenting not just a collection of traditional Indian wear but Western-styled gowns as well.” The two-day exhibition will roll out at Hotel Hometel on September 11. “India International Bride Week is a show based on the entire wedding concept. From jewellery to footwear,apparel to accessories,everything will be available under one roof. We will also be organising a fashion show where models will walk the ramp dressed in bridal wear,” says Rabia,adding,“We have seen organisers put together shows catering to the high income strata but what about the middle class?” The exhibition claims to stock on pocket-friendly collections.

Designer Amit Kashyap,apart from bringing in trousseau specials,would also conduct counselling sessions for would-be brides.

Rakhi Sawant returns to television,this time to deliver justice. After doing her rounds on reality shows,Sawant has joined hands with Imagine,UTV and I am Productions for Rakhi Ka Insaaf.

The show will raise awareness about problems like infidelity,adultery,alcoholism,domestic violence and dowry among others.
