Ayodhya verdict postponed,Admn revokes Section 144

In the wake of the Ayodhya verdict getting adjourned till September 29,UT Deputy Commissioner Brijendra Singh on Thursday withdrew the order prohibiting public in general or any member thereof from forming an assembly of five or more persons.

Singh had yesterday issued the order that was supposed to stay in force for two days — September 24 and 25.

The Chandigarh Police top brass held a meeting on the issue today and chalked out their plans to maintain law and order situation in the city.
