Music director & singer,Anand Raj Anand is back with Anandrisation

IT’S a compilation of three years,100 musicians at Yashraj studios and the dream and passion of one man – music director and singer Anand Raj Anand. Out with his magnum opus of an album,Anandrisation,the composer says,When I started working on the first song of the album,my enthusiasm grew over a period of time and lasted till I recorded my last song…the bliss and joy as a composer was at its peak,hence the title Anandrisation.

The songs in the album range from romantic,sufi to techno,trance,house…the common thread that binds them all together is vibrant Indian flavours in it which will appeal to a global audience, says Anand who flew in arranger Andrew Mackay all the way from London to give his album an international feel. With 100 musicians on board,he also wanted the music to be just like he always dreamt of – live and alive. The brilliant effect of live music has given the songs a magical touch, says Anand who has to his credit 100 films and lyrics of over 20 soundtracks in a career spanning over 20 years.

In pipeline is the music of Chai Garam for Shreya Creations,Chaloo Movie Inc for Big Pictures and forthcoming projects of Percept Picture Company,Subhash Ghais yet untitled movie,and two projects for Sanjay Dutts home productions. Anand has also launched ARA Creations,a content production outfit,needed by music labels and mobile companies. It will engage in content production from devotional to pop music to the end users, he signs off.
