A nine-year-old boy from Hallomajra,who went to buy an ice cream on April 26,is yet to return home. The family of Nitish is moving from pillar to post to trace him.
Nitishs father Mithlesh Kumar a labourer said that the boy had gone missing on April 18 as well,but returned the next day and told the family that someone had picked him up. On the evening of April 18,Nitish went out and did not return. We looked for him in the area for most of the night. The next day,he came home saying that someone had picked him up,blindfolded him,tied his arms and left him near a railway line. Later,a woman saw the boy and she rescued him, Kumar said.
The police were also informed of the incident,he claimed. Kumars joy in finding his son was shortlived as he went missing again on April 26. A complainant has been lodged at the police station in sector 31. The family has even visited orphanages to trace the boy,but to no avail.
Station House Officer Jaipal Singh said a special team has been constituted to trace the the boy. A complaint was lodged by Mithlesh Kumar on April 30. Immediately we registered a case and started investigation. Mithlesh Kumar did not inform us about the incident where the boy had gone missing earlier. Today only,he told us about it, he added.
