Kalka was thronged by workers of political parties on Thursday as three candidates Virender Rana of the BJP,Satvinder Singh Rana of the Congress and Vijay Bansal of the BSP took out rallies in the town,before filing their nominations from this constituency for the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls.
Rana is the sitting MLA from Rajaund,and Bansal recently deserted the Congress to join the BSP.
SDM Yogesh Kumar confirmed that the three had filed their papers,Virender Singh of the BJP has not submitted the required forms A and B. He has been asked to submit the required documents by 3 pm on Friday. Bhagat Singh Azad,a Congress dissident,is expected to file his nomination as an Independent on Friday.
