RMC modifies tender protocol

The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Friday announced to modify its tender protocol for better compliance with the guidelines of Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC). According to the modified protocol,the tender fee has been hiked from Rs 30 to Rs 5,000. The updated guidelines permits negotiations with the lowest bidder only and also introduces enhance factor,while calculating turnover of bidders to check eligibility. The modified protocal came into effect immediately,a release said.
