IIIT-Una to organise institute day on Oct 3

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una, will be holding the Second Institute Day on October 3.
The day will also mark the culmination of the annual athletic, technical and cultural events that are currently taking place on campus. Awards will be given to students who have excelled in their respective fields.
Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will be the chief guest.

The IIIT-Una claims to have achieved 100 % placement as well as one of the highest average among salaries offered to students of INI – Institute of National Importance.
Located about 125 km from Chandigarh at the foothills in Himachal Pradesh, IIIT-Una offers three BTech programmes: computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and information technology. Admissions to the undergraduate programmes in the institute are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
