Retired IAS officer Manoj Aggarwal will be the chief mentor for Ahmedabad International Literature Festival. Aggarwal took over following the demise of retired bureaucrat S K Nanda in July last year. Nanda was senior adviser for the annual event and had also participated in discussions and events at the festival. Aggarwal retired in October 2023 as Additional Chief Secretary (Health). The 10th edition of the AILF scheduled on October 11 and 12 is themed on literature and cinema. Among writers, theatre and cinema personalities, Navneet Kumar Sehgal, chairman, Prasar Bharati, is also expected to attend.
