RIL to pump KG Basin gas from April

Natural gas output from RIL's deep-sea fields in the KG Basin is expected to start in early April.

Natural gas output from Reliance Industries’ deep-sea fields in the Krishna Godavari Basin is expected to start in early April,slightly later than expected,Petroleum Secretary R.S. Pandey said on Tuesday.

He also said Cairn India was expected to start producing crude oil from its fields in the desert state of Rajasthan in a month,and will sell a part of the output to state refiners Indian Oil Corp and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd.
