Reliance Infrastructure,part of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group,reported a growth of 2.12% in its consolidated net profit at R1,551.61 crore for the year ended March 31,2011. The company had reported a net profit of R1,519.39 crore in 2009-10.
Total operating income of the company also rose marginally by 3.65% at R15,408.29 crore during the year vis-a-vis R14,864.82 crore of FY10,it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The companys engineering,procurement and construction business has an order book of R29,635 crore,it said in a separate statement.
The statement added that company’s total debt on standalone basis stood at R 3,969 crore (USD 890 million),although at the net level,it remains debt free.
It is also developing projects comprising of 11 roads,3 metro rail,5 transmission and the Mumbai sea link,the company said.
Reliance Infrastructure also declared a dividend of R7.20 per share. The company scrip today closed 3.85% up on the Bombay Stock Exchange at R557.15 a piece.
