Essar to open marketing office in Germany

Essar Steel used to co-ordinate with its customers in the European Union from its head office,but the proposed office in Dusseldorf would help the company to come closer to its customers.

“Essar has been serving the EU market for over a decade. With this office in Dusseldorf,one of the steel and automobile hubs for Europe,we look forward to growing in this key market,” Essar Steel Chief Executive Officer Malay Mukherjee said.

“We know our customers and have good relationship with them. The opening of the office is meant to strengthen that relationship further,” the company said.

Essar Steel,the largest exporter of flat steel from India,till recently used to export almost 30 per cent of its production to the EU.
