Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 4 flagship smartphone and the Gear S smartwatch in India. The Galaxy Note 4 will sell at Rs 58,300 while the Gear S will be available at Rs 29,000. The availability of full function stylus, the S Pen, is USP of the phone. The Galaxy Note 4 also comes with smart charging that letx users charge till 50% in 30 minutes. The Gear S, takes the smart watch to the next level by adding a curved Super AMOLED screen that wraps around the  wrist. It also has a SIM slot that, which means it can be used independent of at Galaxy device. The Gear S is based on Samsung’s new Tizen operating system.

Super thin, yet powerful

Apple has introduced its super thin iPad Air 2 along with iPad mini 3. The iPad Air 2 comes in two models- WiFi-only and WiFi plus cellular. It will be available in select countries next week. The iPad Air 2 will come preloaded with the latest iOS 8.1 update. The upgraded camera has an 8MP sensor and supports 1080p Full HD recording. It supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi and 20 LTE bands. The iPad Mini 3 sports a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and runs on Apple A 7 processor and iOS 8.1. The new iPad Air 2 starts at Rs 35,900 for the 16GB model while the iPad mini 3 will start at Rs 28,900.

Lenovo has introduced its Yoga 2 tablet range in India. It consists of three Android tablets in sizes 8-inch, 10-inch and 13-inch, and a 10-inch Windows 8.1 tablet. The 8-inch Yoga 2 Android is available at a price of Rs 20,990 on Flipkart. The 10-inch Android version of Yoga Tablet 2 is priced at Rs 28,990 while the Windows 8.1 version is priced at Rs 34,990 and comes with
1-year free subscription of Office 365. The 13-inch Yoga 2 Pro Android tablet is priced at Rs 47,990 and features a built-in projection. The Yoga 2 range features Full HD display, Dolby Wolfson HiFi audio, and is powered with the 4th generation Intel Atom Processor Z3745.
