Dhania,kalaunji declines on subdued demand

In thin trading,prices of dhania and kalajuni fell by Rs 100 each per quintal in the national capital.

In thin trading,prices of dhania and kalajuni fell by Rs 100 each per quintal in the national capital today due to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.

Dhania and kalaunji fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 4,900-8,400 and Rs 7,100- 8,700 per quintal,respectively.

Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid sufficient stocks position mainly pulled down the dhania and kalaunji prices in the wholesale kirana market here.

The following are today’s quotations: Ajwain 10,000-15,000,black pepper (per kg) 420-540,betelnut (kg) 160-195,cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 800-900,and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 950-1,050.

Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 630-730,cardamom (colour robin) 580-680,cardamom bold 630-680,cardamom extra (bold) 880-930 and cloves (kg) 600-725.
