Copper weakens on weak global cues

Copper prices slide by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metal market.

Copper prices slide by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metal market today on reduced industrial demand amid a weak global trend.

Traders attributed the fall in copper prices to reduced industrial demand and a weak global trend.

In the national capital,copper scrap were down by Rs 2 to Rs 388 per kg.

The following are metal rates per kg: Zinc ingot 102-106,nickel plate (4×4) 1,015-1,018,gun metal scrap 227,bell metal scrap 229,copper mixed scrap

388,chadri deshi 285.

Lead ingot 126,lead imported 124,aluminium ingots 128,sheet cutting 129,aluminium wire scrap 133 and aluminium utensils scrap 128.
