Tovino Thomas: A Rising Star in Malayalam Cinema Tovino Thomas, born January 21, 1989, is a prominent Malayalam film actor and producer. His career, launched in 2012 with Prabhuvinte Makkal, saw a significant rise with roles in ABCD (2013), 7th Day (2014), and the critically acclaimed Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), which garnered him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. His versatility shone through in Mayanadhi (2017), earning him the Kerala Film Critics Association Award and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor - Malayalam. A defining moment arrived with his portrayal of the superhero in the Netflix film Minnal Murali (2021), a role that cemented his position as a leading actor and won him a SIIMA Award for Best Actor. This success was further solidified with another SIIMA award for his performance in Kala, the debut venture of his own production house, Tovino Thomas Productions, launched in 2021.
