CBSE class 10, 12 board exams begin from today

New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Examinations for class 10th and 12th CBSE board are set to begin from today as nearly 15 lakh students are expected to appear for 10th and over 10.5 lakh for the 12th exams. The exams for class 10th will continue till March 28th and class 12th exams will end on April 22nd. The first examination for Class 12th students will be English for core as well as elective papers. While the first paper for Class 10th students will be on dynamic retail, information technology, security, auto technology and international tourism. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Mann ki Baat address on Sunday had wished the students.

Jaipur, Feb 11 (ANI): The Rajasthan government has taken an initiative to facelift Jaipur's Gandhi Nagar Railway station. A team of local artists and art work enthusiasts spent hundreds of hours in designing and creating folk art on different walls of the railway station. According to authorities, the main objective behind this approach is to makeover the image of Rajasthan and promotes tourism. In the recent past, the Vasudhara Government launched a massive ad campaign on TV and radio to promote tourism in the state.

Jammu and Kashmir children interact with PM Modi

Kashmir, Jan 13 (ANI): It was a dream come true for some 240 children from Jammu and Kashmir as they interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence in New Delhi.The youth, in the age-group of 15 to 24, were mostly from militancy-affected families, orphanages and weaker sections of the society.The Prime Minister interacted with the students for over half-an-hour and spoke about steps being taken for Jammu and Kashmir's development, including in areas like tourism, digital connectivity and housing among others.The Prime Minister also discussed problems like unemployment in the state.The kids were on a visit to Delhi as part of the "Wattan Ko Jano" or "know your country" initiative being carried out by the Ministry of Home Affairs in coordination with the State government. The government organizes such interactive sessions to give exposure to children from militancy-affected Jammu and Kashmir and provide them an opportunity to understand the dividends of peace.
