Pulwama Attack

At least 40 CRPF jawans were killed in a terror attack on Thursday, February 14 at Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The CRPF men were travelling in a bus, part of a convoy of over a thousand security personnel when an explosive-laden SUV rammed into the bus and exploded. The JeM has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Pulwama attack took place on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and said the lives of those killed won't go in vain. A Cabinet Committee on Security met at the Prime Minister's residence on February 15.
