Prahlad Singh Mulayam Singh Patel, also known as Prahlad Singh Patel, is a political leader from Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh constituency. He was born on June 28, 1960, in Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh.

He has a very prominent political career as he has been elected to the lower house of the Indian Parliament a total of five times, in 1989, 1996, and 1999 from Balaghat, and in 2014 and 2019 from Damoh Lok Sabha seat. He was also the Minister of State in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He was appointed Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture and Tourism in May 2019.

In June 2022, Siddharth Malaiya, a member of the party, announced his resignation and tearfully accused him of insulting him. This incident led to protests against Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel in Madhya Pradesh following the suicide of a man, with allegations and tensions arising within the political sphere.
