World AIDS Day: How to prevent HIV risk on dating apps

‘A start can be made by building in regulatory pop-up messages for every dating app and website so that the user gets to know about unsafe sex and quick tips on safer sex practices,’ says Dr Sheela Godbole, Director- Indian Council of Medical Research – National AIDS Research Institute (ICMR-NARI).

Pune: Planning to expand mandate of NARI, says senior ICMR official

"Currently, we are planning to expand the mandate of NARI. This is one organisation that has some experience towards disease elimination. While work on HIV research and related programmes will continue, the learnings from how the disease was controlled and prevented will be applied to other communicable diseases," said Dr Gangakhedkar, a former director of NARI.
