Karun Nair

Karun Nair, who was born in Rajasthan, made his mark in the cricket in domestic tournaments for Rajasthan. The right-hand batsman made a mark in his debut Ranji season in 2013-14 as he went on to score 500 runs in 6 matches which including three centuries. With his consistent performances in the domestic circuit, Rajasthan Royals former coach Rahul Dravid decided to rope in the youngster for the franchise in IPL. A couple of years later, Nair went to Delhi Dardevils, and he went on to become the second highest run-getter for DD in 2016 edition of IPL. With his IPL records improving, Nair was selected for the ODI and T20I tour of Zimbabwe in 2016. Later, in the same year, he made his Test debut against England in Vishakhapatnam in November 2016. In his 2nd Test, he went on to score a triple ton, becoming only the second Indian after Virender Sehwag. In 6 Tests, he has scored 374 runs at a strike rate of 62.33.
