Dr K.C. Patel is a political leader from Gujarat and a member of Bhartiya Janata. Party. He is the incumbent member of the parliament of the Valsad constituency. He was born on January 10, 1949, in Kherlav, Gujarat, to Shankarji and Ramakka. He completed his M.B.B.S. from Government Medical College, Surat. Before joining the politics, he was a medical practitioner.

He started his electoral career with the Bhartiya Janata Party in 2014 when he contested and won the 16th Lok Sabha elections from the Valsad seat by a margin of over four lakh votes. He retained his seat once again in 2019, winning the election with over three lakh votes and securing his second consecutive term as an MP in the lower house of the Indian Parliament.

He was accused of rape by a lady, who also lodged a police report against him. She stated that he allegedly threatened to murder her and asked her to keep quiet. But later on, it was discovered to be a case of honey trapping, and the woman was taken into custody for the same offence.
