Dilip Joshi

Dilip Joshi is a popular television actor particularly famous for his roles in comedy TV shows. He is currently seen as portraying the role of Jethalal Champaklal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Hailing from Porbandar, Gujarat the actor won two trophies for the best actor by Indian National Theater while he was in college. He began with various Gujarati dramas initially and then later got an opportunity to act in films such as Maine Pyaar Kiya, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun! After starting his career in the year 1998, he has appeared in over 15 TV shows like C.I.D., F.I.R., Agadam Bagdam Tigdam and his very own successful show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. among several others. His performance has been widely appreciated both in Bollywood and on television and he has received various awards for it, more recently the award for the Best Actor In Comic Role (Male) in Zee Gold Awards earlier during this year.
