New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): BJP legislator O.P. Sharma on Friday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should apologise for befriending traitors of the country. He also questioned that how can people who have corruption cases against them recommend his expulsion from the Assembly? He further said he is waiting for party’s senior members to take a decision and will act accordingly.

Mumbai, Feb 18 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gopal Shetty from Maharashtra, who mocked the farmers' suicide issue by calling it a "fashion trend", on Thursday, clarified his stand by saying that rather than giving compensation to farmers, state governments should investigate the matter first. He added that there is a competition going on to give compensation to farmers. He further said he is ready apologise but he wanted his message to go in a positive way. According to reports, Shetty told a leading TV channel, "Not all farmers' suicides happen due to unemployment and starvation. A fashion is going on. A trend is on."

New Delhi, Jan 09 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari on Saturday asserted that he did not call Bollywood actor Aamir Khan a 'traitor', despite what had been published in a few national dailies, and added that efforts were being made to tarnish his image. He also asserted that the newspapers should apologise and should also mention the name of the source who gave them this 'false news'. Earlier, two leading national dailies reported that the BJP MP had called Aamir Khan a 'traitor' at a Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting on Friday in which members sought an explanation from the Tourism Secretary for replacing actor Khan with Amitabh Bachchan as the brand ambassador of the 'Incredible India' campaign.
