Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher is no doubt one of the most established names in the entertainment industry. Starting his career as early as 1982, he has acted in around 500 films and plays. The 55-year-old actor-director, has held the post of chairman of Central Board of Film Certification and National School of Drama. He also owns a production house which has produced over three movies and also some television shows till date. The actor has also tried his hand in dubbing animated movies like 'Up' and 'Mahabharata 3D Film'. Hosting T.V. shows and playback singing are on his plate too. He has also appeared in international cinema in some of the critically acclaimed movies like, Bend It Like Beckham, Lust, Caution and the Oscar-winning Silver Linings Playbook. Hence are his achievements-Padma Shri in 2004 for his contribution to Indian cinema and in Padma Bhusan in 2016 for his contribution to arts. The evergreen actor has also won two National Film Awards and eight Filmafares.
