Annasaheb Jolle biography

Annasaheb Shankar Jolle, born on October 8, 1963, in Examba, Belgaum district, Karnataka, is a significant figure in the Indian political landscape. He is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member and currently serves as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Chikkodi. He was born to Shankar Jolle and Laxmibai Jolle. He completed his pre-university course before embarking on his political journey.

His political career began when he contested on a BJP ticket from the Chikkodi-Sadalga constituency. However, he lost to Ganesh Hukkeri in 2014. Despite the initial setback, Jolle persevered and later won the Chikkodi Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 Indian general election.

He is married to Shashikala Jolle, a politician who currently serves as the Minister of Haj & Wakf and Muzrai in the government of Karnataka. They have two children.
