Adala Prabhakara Reddy biography

Adala Prabhakara Reddy is a veteran leader from Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party. He is the incumbent MP from Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore constituency. He is known for his stint as MLA of the state before contesting in his first-ever Lok Sabha elections in 2019, which he won by a landslide margin of 148571 votes.

He was born on 25 October 1948 in North Mopuru, Andhra Pradesh, to Adala Shankar Reddy and Adala Susheela Amma.

He made his political debut in 1999 by winning the State Assembly election for the Alur seat, marking his first stint as MLA. After gaining back the seat in the 2004 elections, he moved to the Sarvepalli constituency and was re-elected in 2009 and 2014. His commitment to public service won him praise from the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party, which ultimately resulted in his nomination as the Nellore candidate for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
