Xiaomi Mi TV 3 launched with 70-inch 4K display in China

Xiaomi has launched Mi TV 3 which succeeds Mi TV 2, that was launched in early 2015. The Mi TV 3 is Xiaomi’s effort to build a TV that takes on the likes of Samsung and LG’s UHD TV range.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 3 features a 70-inch UHD display from Sharp. The Mi TV 3 is powered by quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex-A17 processor and graphics duty is handled by a Mali-760MP4 GPU.

The Mi TV 3 comes with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB internal storage. The TV which is supposed to be smart naturally supports connectivity options like ethernet port, micro USB port, full size USB 3.0 port. It also sports three HDMI ports and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1.

Xiaomi’s Mi TV 3 comes with a colour gamut of 85% NTSC and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The TV also has a 2.5-inch stereo speakers with Dolby Virtual Surround Sound and Bass Boost.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 3 is priced at 9,999 Yuan and will be limited to Chinese markets.
