Acer announces new all-in-one Windows 10 PC with built-in battery

With these two new products, Acer is trying to aggressively market these devices around Windows 10’s Cortana and Continuum feature. Both Acer Aspire R 14 and Aspire Z3-700 come with dual-digital microphones with Acer purified voice that cancels the background noise and improve speech accuracy and Cortana experience.

The Acer Aspire R 14 is a convertible laptop featuring metalli finish, diamond-cut edge design and a thinner 360-degree dual torque hinge design for better flexibility. The new design allows for the notebook to switch from laptop mode to display mode, tent mode or tablet mode. The Aspire R 14 is 18.5mm thick and weighs 1.9kg.

The Acer Aspire R14 is powered by 6th gen Intel Core processors and comes with up to 8GB DDR3 RAM option. Acer Aspire R 14 comes with SSD for storage and includes MU-MIMO technology for faster connectivity option.

Acer has also announced Aspire Z3-700 all-in-One PC with built-in battery that can last for 5 hours. The Aspire Z3-700 features a 17.3-inch full HD display and is powered by Intel Pentium or Celeron range of processors. It comes with optional up to 8GB DDR3 RAM and SSD or regular HDD storage option.

The Aspire Z3-700 all-in-One PC is 15.6mm thick and weighs 2kg. It has two kick stands which allow it to stand or can lay flat making it a huge tablet. The new Aspire Z3-700 also supports input via dedicated stylus.

The Aspire R 14 will be available in North America starting at $699 in late October and starts at $799 in EMEA regions. The Acer Aspire Z3-700 will be available in EMEA region by the end of the year at a starting price of €599.
