Two top BCCI officials 8211; treasurer Ajay Shirke and secretary Sanjay Jagdale 8211; today quit from their respective posts in a bid to put pressure on beleaguered cricket board President N. Srinivasan in the wake of the IPL spot-fixing and betting scandal.
Jagdale said he quit from his post as he was deeply hurt by the current crisis that has hit Indian cricket.
8220;Yes,that8217;s true,I have resigned from the post of honorary secretary of BCCI,8221; Jagdale said.
8220;I don8217;t want to comment further but I am deeply hurt by the recent developments in Indian cricket. I thought it8217;s better to get out so that some new faces come in and deal with it in a better way,8221; he added.
He,however, refused to divulge the details of the resignation letter sent to N. Srinivasan.

8220;I have already expressed my inability to be part of the commission,8221; Jagdale said.
