Leto himself has previously described the part as a “nearly Shakespearean character”, reported Ace Showbiz.

Ayer chose the word “majestic” when asked by his Twitter follower to describe Leto’s Joker in upcoming movie in one word.

“@pottertardis: @DavidAyerMovies could you please describe Jared letos’s joker in one word ? Majestic #skwad,” he posted.

Giving no further clues either about Joker or ‘Suicide Squad’, Ayer however tweeted some behind-the-scenes pics from the film’s pre-production phase.

“Sets are going up #skwad,” he captioned one shot. “Testing new iPad controlled lights. Old school light on left. #skwad,” read a caption of the other photo.

Based on the DC comic book, superhero film ‘Suicide Squad’ centers its story on the team of super-villains who are given a chance at redemption by the government, but their mission will probably kill them all.

The movie, planned for August 5, 2016 release, is produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle for Warner Bros Pictures. In addition to Jared Leto, the cast ensembles include the likes of Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevingne among others.
