Angelina Jolie files for divorce from Brad Pitt due to ‘irreconcilable differences’

Earlier, there were reports that the couple was contemplating a divorce due to a ‘third person’ in their relationship. Many were holding Pitt’s rumored affair with actress Marion Cotillard as the cause of the potential split. A few days back, there were also reports about Pitt’s increasing interest in actress Gwyneth Paltrow, which turned out to be false. We also hear that Jolie has asked for no spousal support. In the papers, she has allegedly written date of separation as ’15 September 2016′.

Pitt and Jolie got married in August 2014, after being a couple for a decade. Ironically, Pitt’s earlier divorce with actress Jennifer Aniston was allegedly due to children. It was said that Pitt wanted to have children, while Aniston wanted to focus on her career. She has categorically denied these claims.

Pitt and Jolie allegedly fell in love on the sets of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Pitt was still married to Aniston then.
