Screen shots: Raashi in Shoojit’s next

After making a striking pair in Student Of The Year,Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have signed their second film together. Titled Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania,the romantic flick is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by debutant Shashank Khaitan. Shooting commences in October after Dhawan wraps up shooting for his father’s directorial venture.

Imran Opts out?

Rumours suggest that Imran Khan has opted out of director,Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Milan Talkies and has been replaced by Shahid Kapoor. Khan was signed for the film almost a year ago. “As of now Imran is doing the film but I cannot say anything more at this time,” said Dhulia. Priyanka Chopra is the female lead in the film,which is set in a small town.

Kareena in Happy Ending

Kareena Kapoor will make a special appearance in Happy Ending,a romantic comedy which is produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan’s Illuminati Films. Saif plays the protagonist in the film,with Ileana D’Cruz as the female lead. Everything is under wraps and nobody is clear on the exact nature of Kareena’s role in the film. “The shoot will be closely guarded as the makers do not want any information leaking out,” said Kareena’s spokesperson.
