On Sonam Kapoor’s 30th birthday, brother Arjun Kapoor shares a throwback picture

Arjun Kapoor, who weighed a whopping 140 kilos before entering the industry, can be seen behind his sister. Birthday girl Sonam Kapoor has made her Bollywood debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ whereas Arjun started his career as an Assistant Director and made his acting debut with ‘Ishaqzaade’.

They also won the Filmfare Award for the Best Debut Actors.

Sonam has since then has delivered hits like ‘Khoobsurat’, ‘Raanjhanaa’ and is gearing up for the release of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ opposite Salman Khan and the biopic on ‘Neerja Bhanot’.

Both the Kapoor cousins had to completely transform themselves by shedding off their weight to make their way in the industry.

Karisma Kapoor also posted a picture of Sonam and wished her birthday.

Malaika Arora Khan also posted a picture of her and her husband with Sonam on Instagram. Sonam had worked in their production ‘Dolly ki Doli’.
