The Udta Punjab star is also ready to shoulder the new responsibility that a child birth brings in. “It will be a new responsibility. From being an independent individual, you become part of a family and of a wonderful unit. So you feel responsible not just for yourself but for others as well. I am sure my wife(Mira) feels the same way about it. She was an independent individual and now she has responsibility of us being a family.”

Shahid who is often seen posting couple pictures with his lovely wife on Instagram expressed his happiness towards his followers for liking them together as a couple. Said Shahid,” I think people are really surprised. I and Mira are from different backgrounds. Nobody knew about it. So I think that is exciting for people and I don’t think beyond that. I am happy that people like us together and that make us happy.”
