Shah Rukh Khan begin shooting for ‘Raees’

First day on Raees. Hot but heartening. And KKR starts its match. Go boys….cheering you from the sets.

The movie had, apparently, gone on floors on April 10 with the preliminary scenes being shot. Director Rahul Dholakia had tweeted:

28 set ups with 400+ background actors on day 1 ! What a start ! Thank you all ! #Raees

Co-producer Farhan Akhtar has also tweeted about the commencement of the much awaited movie.

Shah Rukh Khan plays an underworld don in the movie. The movie also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

‘Raees’ marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, known for playing Khirad in the hit Pakistani show ‘Humsafar’. Her co-star from the show – Fawad Khan – has already made his debut in Bollywood with Disney Pictures’ ‘Khoobsurat’ starring Sonam Kapoor.
