Will Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ double box-office returns?

The producers of Tanu Weds Manu are hoping to create double the fun, and hopefully more than twice the box-office returns with a second movie, Tanu Weds Manu Returns. And if you insert a Bollywood formula into it, you have to, but obviously, have a double role.

The trailer of the movie reveals that the film picks off a few years into the marriage of Tanu played by Kangna Ranaut and Manu played by R Madhavan. Ranaut plays two roles — the gutsy and bold Tanu, who is now bored with Manu, and a Haryanvi athlete Kusum, who catches Madhavan’s fancy.

The launch which started on Bollywood time, read: late, had Ranaut in a Stella McCartney green-and-black striped dress with side cutouts. She was joined by let-me-take-you-home-to-my-mama Madhavan in a smart bandhgala, who has thankfully lost the pounds put on for the movie.
