It appears that Aishwarya Rai was in fact working during the day on her wedding anniversary.

Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan completed eight years of togetherness on April 20.

The couple had planned to spend the day together along with the rest of the family including their daughter Aaradhya for the wedding anniversary celebrations. However, it appears that Aishwarya was in fact working during the day.

Celebrity fashion designer Ana Singh, who is a close friend of Aishwarya’s, shared a picture along with the actress and her favourite makeup artist, Mickey Contractor on the sets.

“Had a lovely time on the sets celebrating aishwarya and AB jr anniversary while he was shooting in dubai and meeting my dearest @mickeycontractor whom i adore and ash my ultimate inspiration love u lots guys @bachchan,” posted Ana Singh.

Reportedly, Abhishek Bachchan was to return that night from his shoot in Dubai to be with the Bachchan clan on this special day.
