The Hindi version of Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam 3 has found itself in a controversy following Akshaye Khanna's alleged exit from the project. Producer Kumar Mangat Pathak revealed that the actor left the project just before the release of his blockbuster film, Dhurandhar, despite having been paid an advance and expressing confidence in its success. Jaideep Ahlawat has replaced Akshaye.
