Bihar concluded the polls on Thursday with a voter turnout of 64.66%, the highest since 1951. Prashant Kishor said it reflects a shift in public sentiment that had been dormant for decades and the role of migrant workers who stayed back during Chhath Puja. Kishor, whose Jan Suraaj Party is making its first foray into Bihar, added that such participation signals a desire for political transition.
