Banaras Khajuraho Vande Bharat train: During its commercial run, the Banaras to Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will run as train number 26422/26421. The train will cover a distance of 443 km in 07:40 hrs.
Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express: The much-anticipated Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and Khajuraho will commence inaugural run today. This new train will be maintained and operated by Northern Railway (NR) zone. It will run from Banaras to Madhya Pradesh’s Khajuraho.
Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Train Inaugural Run
During its inaugural run on Saturday, this new semi-high-speed train will run as ‘unreserved’. The train will not only improve connectivity between two distances but also enhance passenger experience.
During its inaugural run, the Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat train will halt at six railway stations. These are: Varanasi, Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheoki, Chitrakutdham, Banda and Mahoba.

During its inaugural run, the Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat train will begin its journey at 08:05 hrs. It will reach Khajuraho at 16:25 hrs.
Banaras to Khajuraho Vande Bharat train commercial run
During its commercial run, the Banaras to Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will run as train number 26422/26421. The train will cover a distance of 443 km in 07:40 hrs. This will be the fastest train on the route.
This new train will operate six days a week except Thursday. The train will have eight coaches: 7 air-conditioned chair car coaches and 1 executive air-conditioned chair car coach.

Train number 26422 Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will leave Varanasi at 05:25 hrs and arrive at Khajuraho at 13:10 hrs. In the return direction, train number 26421 Khajuraho-Varanasi Vande Bharat will depart from Khajuraho at 15:20 hrs and arrive in Varanasi at 23:00 hrs.
