Ram Gopal Varma praises Aditya Dhar's film Dhurandhar for its realistic action and character development, stating that it has dethroned South Indian cinema and will revolutionise pan-Indian films. However, he also notes that it follows a traditional template and could have been made by any masala filmmaker. It features Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Madhavan and Sara Arjun.
