In 1945, filmmaker Vijay Bhatt screened his 1943 mythological starring Shobhna Samarth and Prem Adib for Mahatma Gandhi as he lay convalescing in Juhu. Bapu had earlier only watched the English film Mission to Moscow. Clearly, Gandhi was no film buff but made an exception for Ram Rajya.
