5 / 6The preliminary exam consists of paper-I and II. In the objective type, multiple choice questions are asked that carry a total of 400 marks. In the general studies paper – II, a candidate has to qualify with a minimum of 33 per cent marks.

6 / 6The candidates can apply through the website- upsc.gov.in. Click on the link to apply for the IFS prelims 2021. Enter the credentials, name, date of birth, father's name, mother's name. Click on the registration id, date of birth. Pay application fee. Once the application process completes, click on submit, download and take a print out for further reference.
