Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston, dies at 22: Celebs who died young

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of late singer Whitney Houston, died on Sunday at the age of 22, some six months after suffering irreversible brain damage in an incident at her suburban Atlanta home, her family said in a statement.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, whose father is R&B singer Bobby Brown, was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her home by her partner and a friend on Jan. 31. She was moved by her family to hospice care on June 24. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God," her family said. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months." Her death came three years after her Grammy-winning mother, who had battled substance abuse, drowned in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel at age 48. Authorities said cocaine abuse and heart disease contributed to Houston's Feb. 11, 2012 death.

TV actor Sanjit Bedi, who was famous for playing Dr Omi in hit TV show ‘Sanjeevani’, passed away on June 23. The young actor was suffering from a brain ailment and had been in coma for a while.

Aarthi Agarwal

Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal died at the age of 31 on June 6 after suffering a cardiac arrest due to respiratory complications at a hospital in the US.

Aarthi, who suffered from asthma for several years, had undergone a liposuction surgery but post-surgery she developed respiratory problems and is said to have suffered a cardiac arrest while recuperating at a hospital in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

K Vijay

An upcoming Telugu actor and choreographer, Vijay Singh Kavadia, 22, died in Nepal earthquake in April this year.

Paul Walker

Actor Paul Walker, best known for his roles in the ‘Fast & Furious’ series, died in a car accident in 2013. He was only 40.

Divya Bharti

Divya Bharti starred in a number of Hindi and Telugu movies. The actress passed away at the young age of 19 when she fell off from her balcony window in the year 1993.

Nirmal Pandey

Nirmal Pandey, who was seen in movies like 'Bandit Queen' and 'Daayraa', died at the age of 47. The actor suffered a heart attack on February 18, 2010.

Jiah Khan

A young actress, who had worked with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, Jiah Khan died at the age of 25. The actress reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her bedroom, when her mother and sister were not at home.

Corry Monteith

Canadian actor and musician, Corry Monteith died at the age of 31 due to heroin and alcohol overdose. The actor, who was seen in the hit television show 'Glee', was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver.

Heath Ledger

Australian actor Heath Ledger, popular as Joker from The Dark Knight, died in December 2008 from an accidental intoxication from prescription drugs. The actor passed away at the age of 28. Ledger received more than 30 posthumous awards for his role in The Dark Knight (2008) including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and Golden Globes that year.

Amy Winehouse

Singer Amy Winehouse died at the age of 27 in July 2011. She died of alcohol poisoning.
