
Result of the first ever UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) was announced last night. The exam was conducted on December 18, 2018 to December 22, 2018.

The TS POLYCET 2019 result card includes subject-wise and aggregate marks obtained by the student. Based on these aggregate marks, rank list will be prepared.

How to check the result? Candidates need to visit the official website, nta.ac.in. On the homepage click on the link 'college/university teaching fellowship exam'. A new page will open, scroll till the end and click on the link 'UGC-NET website and registration'. Click on 'view result - UGC NET December 2018'. Log-in using application number and date of birth, result will appear.

According to NTA, it was the first time in a nation-wide professional exam that live CCTV surveillance through 8000 CCTV was carried out. Jammers to stop electronic devices such as mobile phone, pager etc were also used. However, some students had complained about frisking. Two women - one from Delhi and one from Goa were not allowed to appear for the exam as they refused to remove their hijab.
