My career is already made. Nobody can make or break my career, the actress said adding,My fans decided to make me a star. The only thing that will break me is when the love of my audience wont be there with me and they wouldnt want to see me in films any more. The actress made these statements recently during the promotions of her film No One Killed Jessica.

According to the Bengali beauty,an actor has a huge responsibility of entertaining the audience with every film. Rani,who craves for exciting and different roles,said actors are beggars who wait for good scripts.

The actor said that he worries a lot about his wife,children and mother and constantly inquires about their well-being.

I guess its in my genes,as my mother used to worry a lot about us when we were growing up. She was so scared that something would happen to us that she never allowed me and my siblings to learn swimming! The result is that today none of us can swim, laughed Aamir. But he quickly added that he was not as big a worrier as his mum because he ensured that his children,Junaid and Ira,learn to swim.

Son shine

Hrithik Roshan celebrated the New Year with his family in Dubai and spent time snowboarding with his two sons.

The actor took time out to teach the snow sport to five-year-old Hrehaan and three-year-old Hridaan at the Mall of Emirates. The two toddlers wanted to learn snowboarding for quite sometime but their superstar father was too busy with his films to be able to teach them. But this time when the entire Roshan family decided to celebrate New Year in Dubai,Hrithik also took out time for his kids.

Later,the superstar celebrated his birthday at his residence and invited all his friends from the industry.

Risk Factor

After coming under attack from Sikh groups for incorrect portrayal of his character in Singh Is Kinng,Akshay Kumar is not taking any chances with Patiala House,his next release. He will be seen as a clean-shaven Sikh in the film,which releases on February 11.

The script originally had Akshays character with beard and turban. However,the actor explained his predicament to Nikhil who understood his situation and readily agreed.

Meanwhile,some former and current cricket players will make an appearance in the film. Akshay,who essays the role of a pace bowler,will be seen in the company of cricketers like Nasir Hussain,Brendon McCullum,Herschelle Gibbs,Kieron Pollard,Andrews Symonds,Kamran Akmal,Tillakaratne Dilshan,Graham Gooch,Wasim Akram and Matthew Hayden. For Akshay,it was an amazing experience.

Arshad Warsi,winner of the Best Supporting actor for Ishqiya,was highly thrilled at bagging the Screen award. The actor had a huge party at his Yari Road residence the following Sunday for his close friends who dropped in to wish him. Wife Maria Goretti,who had promised to rustle up Arshads favourite dishes if he won,kept her promise and cooked a lavish meal for the guests.

Weighty issues

Kangna Ranaut,known for her petite and slim look,may have to put on weight soon for the promotion of Aanand L Rais Tanu Weds Manu. The actress,who will be seen as Tanu in the film opposite R. Madhavan for the first time,plays a small- town girl in the movie.

During the films shoot last April,Kangna accidentally fractured her leg and was on complete bed rest for few weeks. A a result,she gained seven kilos and was reluctant to start shooting again. But to her surprise,Rai recommended her to shoot and she complied.

Later Kangna managed to shed the excess weight. Now the makers want the actress to regain those seven kilos again for the films promotion as they feel that people should identify with her character.

Now the petite beauty is in a dilemma. When contacted,Kangnas publicist confirmed that Rai has asked her to put on weight but the actress,who is presently shooting for Rascals and Double Dhamaal,has not said whether she will abide by his request.

Getting Naughty

Riya Sen is set to play a Himachali girl in her upcoming flick Tere Mere Phere,which is a comic take on married life. The actress is paired opposite Vinay Pathak and couldnt stop talking about the fun they had during the shoot.

Elaborating on her naughty affair,she says,There was one scene where Vinay and I were taking pheras around fire during a wedding scene and were walking on a wooden plank. It was so slippery that I fell and everyone started laughing. I got embarrassed so I pulled Vinay too,who also had a fall. There were many such funny incidents on the sets and we had a blast.

Stomach this

EMRAAN Hashmi has until now mostly been the maverick,cocky guy in all his films. But one can trust Dibakar Banerjee to flip a stereotype on its head. The filmmaker has cast Emraan alongside Abhay Deol in his next film,Shanghai,and has asked the actor to pile on kilos and grow a paunch. Emraan,visibly excited to play the character,is naturally a tad skeptical about Dibakars demand but has agreed to give up his six packs for one big bag-pack.
